"On this day, we gather because we have chosen hope over fear, unity of purpose over conflict and discord." - Barack H. Obama

It was a victory for hope.

On November 4, 2008 Barack Obama was chosen by the American voting public to be the next president of the United States of America. This was not just a victory for a brilliant young senator. It was not just a victory for civil rights. And it was not just a victory for the people of the US and across the globe. It was a victory for hope.

Fear Lost. Hope Won!

For many of us, we feel hopeful for our future and for the future of our children in a way that we have not felt in a long time.

Please contribute to this expression of hope by submitting your photo or image. After some time, we will take our favorite images and make a book to help us all remember this pivotal time in history.
